I am trying to figure out what a 455,000 listed home would cost me on a short sale. My realtor buddy told me the banks give .70 cents on the dollar and that made no sense to me. please enlighten me on how I would pay less and how much less.

I have found a house that has gone through the foreclosure process and is now bank owned or REO. Called the bank, which said it is an investment property. Got the contact information and was told the house is going to HUD. The house is not listed on HUD.gov. So, how long will it take for the house to be listed on HUD.gov?

we found a home that has been foreclosed for over a year now, the bank is not currently trying to sell it but the transfer value is so lo because the previous owners had their mortgage mostly paid off should we make an offer?

We are actively looking for a home and there are 3 homes out of a BUNCH of homes that we would be happy with. The 3 homes are short sales. Can we submit an offer for more than one home at a time or do we need to submit one - wait to see if it gets accepted/rejected and THEN submit another one?

My concern is if we submit 2 or more offers and they all get accepted, know what I mean?
